Sharia Law Against LGBT
Under Sharia law in Aceh, Indonesia, transgressions are punished by corporeal punishment. The number of lashes varies from 7 to 100, depending on the perceived severity. The photos show a court case and public caning, of men who were in a same-sex relationship. A gay couple was sentenced to 85 lashes each.
